Velocidi and AWS
Velocidi’s mission is to help e-commerce brands gain a deeper understanding of their customers.
We offer a first-party customer data platform (CDP) deployed on a dedicated Amazon Web Services account.
Why Amazon Web Services?
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully-featured services from data centers globally. Millions of customers—including the fastest-growing startups, largest enterprises, and leading government agencies—are using AWS to lower costs, become more agile, and innovate faster.
As a startup committed to agility, Velocidi knew it needed to focus on product development, not on operating infrastructure. The company adopts an Amazon Web Services (AWS) stack to operate its infrastructure, differentiating itself from the competition with a privacy-first approach to data—a rare benefit among digital marketing ecosystems.
Velocidi is an approved AWS Partner on the Software provider path, working together to provide innovative solutions, solve technical challenges, win deals, and deliver value to our mutual customers.
🚀 Fast set-up
AWS automation enables Velocidi to set up a new customer in less than an an hour with minimal engineering intervention.
There is a dedicated AWS account for each of our customers, and the Velocidi CDP is deployed in each customer’s specific infrastructure.
How it works
Velocidi leverages a multitude of AWS services to instantiate their product. Automation and programmatic configurations facilitate operations, while ensuring scalability, without requiring a dedicated infrastructural team.
Velocidi Triples E-Commerce Return on Ad Spend Supported by Amazon RDS on AWS
As an AWS partner, Velocidi was invited for a case study on the relevance of using AWS’s Relational Database Service (RDS) to optimize product development and operation.
Velocidi credits much of its success to its “all-in” approach with AWS and Amazon RDS. “There are so many companies out there that wouldn’t be as efficient as they are without the AWS public cloud to manage their operations and services for them,” concluded Tiago Boldt Sousa.
“ It’s enabling businesses to exist that otherwise would not. Without RDS, we’d need a dedicated team for maintaining our databases. We would need people on call all the time. AWS enables us to sleep better at night.``
